nous attendions tous depuis plusieurs mois des nouvelles de cette fameuse phase "bleue" que nous faisait miroiter notre ami texan Ronald Tremper! et bien il n y aura pas de "blue" leopard gecko..ni de superhypo "blue"...
Ron possédait une femelle avec une tache bleue, mais n'avais pas réussi à obtenir de rejetons identiques..et c'est bien normale car cette coloration était du à un angiome!

This condition is fairly common in humans and sometimes appears as a poorly-defined, slightly raised, blue subcutaneous nodule with normal overlying skin. The blue color is due to the accumulation of de-oxygenated blood. Most of the time it is a benign vascular malformation. Grossly, cavernous hemangiomas are blue, soft and spongy. I suspect this is the case since the three sections of the tail involved are larger than the normal surrounding ones."

To put it simply, the blue spot represents a leopard gecko birth mark of sorts. So the quest for a blue leopard still eludes us.
